What does a 3-Course Fine Dining meal consist of?

What is a 3-course meal?

A 3-course meal is any meal that includes one entrée, one main course, and one dessert. Also referred to as a standard course meal, 3-course meals are considered the starting point for fine dining. You can have more courses added to a 3-course meal to turn it into a more extravagant affair with more time spent taking in great food and excellent company. When should you order a 3-course meal?

A 3-course meal is ideal for special occasions such as romantic dinners, family celebrations, business events or times when you want to enjoy a sophisticated and memorable dining experience.

Why are 3-course meals special? 

3-course meals are special because they provide a balanced and structured dining experience, often showcasing the chef's creativity and culinary skills. Starting with an appetizer to whet the appetite, followed by a main course as the centerpiece, and concluding with a dessert to end on a sweet note, this format offers variety and a sense of indulgence. Additionally, it creates an opportunity to savor and appreciate each dish, making it perfect for special occasions, intimate gatherings, or moments of celebration.

Secure your booking by paying in full. If using bank transfer/EFTPOS, please ensure you use the order number as a payment reference.

CHEFIN will email you a booking confirmation and calendar invitation. This will include a form to collect your information and particular needs/requirements.

Once you have filled in the form and sent it back to us, and your booking is sooner than in 3 weeks, we will assign a Chef based on your needs and desires.

Can I hire a private chef on a public holiday?

Yes, you can hire a private chef through the CHEFIN platform for an event on a public holiday. However, please be aware that there will be a standard additional fee based on Brazil’s labor rules and regulations. Hospitality employees are entitled to an additional fee of up to 2 times the normal rate. Chefs' availability on these dates may be reduced.

Is it safe to have a chef in my home?

Yes, it is completely safe and legal to have a CHEFIN Chef in your home. CHEFIN chefs practice additional food safety practices to ensure safe food preparation and service in your home.

What time will the Chefin team arrive?

Typically, CHEFIN chefs like to be prepared and will arrive anywhere from 1 hour to 30 minutes before your event. With a minimum of 30 minutes before service time. For example, if you want guests to enjoy canapés at 6:30pm, the chef will arrive no later than 6pm. The chef will bring all the ingredients and finish each dish on the menu in their kitchen, using the equipment available in their kitchen and also the CHEFIN certified equipment brought by them. Your chef will serve you and your guests, while providing an explanation of each dish and, where possible, discussing their techniques and recipes during the cooking process. When the meal is complete, your chef will clean up the kitchen area so you can enjoy the success of a wonderful event.
