HOW DOES OUR CANCELLATION POLICY WORK?

We understand that unexpected events happen and that sometimes it is necessary to cancel or change an event, which is always saddening. However, we understand that things don’t always go as planned! If you need to change or cancel your cooking experience or private chef appointment after you have already submitted your reservation and processed payment, it is essential that you contact our Customer Support team immediately.

You can contact us by email at brasil@chefin.com, and our Customer Support team will guide you through the necessary steps to modify or cancel your reservation. We will do our best to help, even though it is with great sadness!

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations with 14 Days or More Notice: If you inform us of your cancellation at least 14 days in advance of the event date, we will happily refund 70% of the amount paid. Please note that 30% of the reservation amount will be retained as a reservation fee, which is non-refundable.
  • Cancellations with Less than 14 Days Notice and More than 5 Days Notice: For cancellations made with less than 14 days’ notice, unfortunately, we will not be able to offer a refund. However, we can work with you to try to reschedule your event to a new date, subject to availability and specific criteria.
  • Cancellations with Less than 5 Days’ Notice: For cancellations made up to 5 days before the event, we will not be able to offer a refund or reschedule to another date.

Important: CHEFIN platform booking fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. Should you wish to reschedule, we will be happy to accommodate your request in most cases, without additional fees, as long as advance notice is given and the chef has not incurred any costs for purchasing ingredients.
