Ana Barbieri is a passionate chef who transitioned from a decade-long career as an executive secretary to pursue her love for cooking. She studied gastronomy at SENAC and, in 2015, opened MarujosBar in Arraial do Cabo, RJ. After returning to São Paulo in 2018, she worked in renowned restaurants and hotels, bringing professional gastronomy into people’s homes. Ana specializes in healthy, balanced meals and offers a vegan menu with 100% plant-based ingredients. Her philosophy revolves around quality, flavor, and practicality, making gourmet dining accessible in everyday life.
My name is Ana, and I am Valentina’s mother.
After my pregnancy, I felt a strong desire and urge to put soul and meaning into everything I do. I started studying gastronomy at SENAC, and it became inevitable to transition from the corporate world to my true passion—the Art of Cooking.
In 2015, I opened MarujosBar in one of the most beautiful places I have ever been: Arraial do Cabo, RJ. It was a small restaurant with an open kitchen facing the sea, offering a small menu that changed almost daily. This experience brought me immense joy, challenges, and valuable lessons.
In 2018, I returned to São Paulo and began working in prestigious restaurants and hotels, with the goal of bringing professional gastronomy into people’s homes in a simple and accessible way. My mission is to help those seeking a healthy, balanced, and flavorful diet amid the hustle and bustle of daily life.
We also offer a Vegan Menu, where all ingredients are plant-based.
Our concept is all about quality, flavor, and practicality!
I admire the art of gastronomy and how a kitchen is orchestrated like a grand symphony. I come from a family of cooks—I grew up in the kitchen, learning and often getting scolded by my mother, who is an excellent cook.
For ten years, I worked as an Executive Secretary, but my heart spoke louder, leading me to embrace my true calling: cooking.
