Born in Argentina and currently based in Brazil, Chef Gustavo Escobar is driven by a deep love for cooking — a passion passed down from his father, a baker. Since then, he has built a career spanning more than two decades, with a mission to make every meal feel like a celebration.
Trained in Culinary Arts, Gustavo has worked at respected restaurants such as Rufino Parrilla in Leblon, Garota Beer in Cabo Frio, and José Restaurante. Everywhere he goes, he leaves his signature touch through flavorful, heartfelt dishes and a focus on client satisfaction.
His culinary style combines the bold spirit of Argentine grilling with modern Brazilian flair and subtle French influences. Whether it’s an intimate dinner or a cocktail reception, Gustavo designs menus that are thoughtful, balanced, and delicious.
Now leading his private chef venture “Chef en Casa” in Rio de Janeiro, he brings passion, professionalism, and a personalized touch to every dining experience.
